Why does Fox News keep playing video from one event and claiming it shows huge crowds attending another one?

First Hannity airs footage from the Beck’s 9/12 rally and claims it’s Michelle Bachman’s health care tea party, only to be caught by Jon Stewart and forced to apologize, and now they air footage from a McCain campaign rally last year and claim it’s a Sarah Palin book signing. When they say “We Report, You Decide,” just what are they reporting?
I guess I am not getting the uproar. In the Reuters video embedded in this Yahoo story, you see huge crowds waiting for Palin to sign their books.
If Fox used stock video to convey the truth because they didn’t have the up to date video, where is the issue?
If Paln were NOT getting crowds, ok I would get it. But the video link YOU posted shows HUGE crowds.
