Both my dogs have allergies. And both are allergic to wheat. My vets were certain my Lab was allergic to things in the environment but nothing worked as treatment. I did eventually switched to holistic meds and they actually worked but not all the way. However I recently switched my dogs to Wellness Core which is 100% Grain Free and no preservatives and i did it because dogs do not need grains they are carnivores and need meat. Which this food is all meat. ANy ways it solved my dogs allergies a 100% and I am so amazed. No more itching, scratching, chewing, sneezing etc. He is a new dog, and he has no more allergy problems as long as he stays awya from wheat and grains.
