Also both of the ones on ss are both disabled and can’t work. One is under 65 and can’t get medicare and has to pay around 650 dollars a month for health insurance so any news on the recession checks going to everybody or what would be greatfly appreciated.

These checks are for EVERYONE who files an income tax return – whether you need to or not. Just put 0 in the box that says “the amount you owe” – sign it and mail it. And then you will get the $300 – $1200 depending upon the number in the household. As for prescriptions – something is wrong here – I was disabled in 1991 and was on Medicare from day one. Maybe your friends should check the 1-800-MEDICARE number for more info. As for prescription medications – they may qualify for PPA (Partnership for Prescription Medications) – this is a free – or almost free program – and you can give you friends the info my logging on to the PPA.org.
