Why would some one be scammed into getting chemo when there are natural ways of curing cancer?

I mean seriously, people who think only plastic pills and radiation are the best ways to treat cancer are probably as genetically modified as the food they eat. We know what types of things cause cancer. why do you think labels often say “this product contains a substance that is known to the state of california to cause cancer” because california is catching on while the fda puts aspartame in “healthy digestive tract fixing yogurt”. why didn’t fox news ever tell me diet pop caused brain tumors i only heard it from those nerdy health freaks so i figured they and the scientists were just lying so i cant have my diet pop and feel good. yea, thats it.

The short answer to all of this is scientific evidence.

In the case of aspartame, there is none proving it causes cancer, not even close. In the case of herbal remedies there is some, but it is not as strong as that for chemo, radiotherapy, and cancer drugs.

If there was a way to cure cancer, everyone would be doing it. The pharmaceutical companies would be all over it, as it would make them millions.

Keep drinking you diet soda. The scientists keep telling everyone its safe, only the world doesn’t believe them. I would be much less inclined to believe someone who bases their practice on rumors and hearsay, and does not have a university degree.

A much lesser known fact is that obesity is a major cause of cancer. And is responsible for about 20% of cancer deaths. Aspartame is really the lesser of 2 evils.

As for the Californian labeling, its not something they know that everyone else doesn’t. Its more that their labeling laws allow unsubstantiated claims on food. It a legal thing.
